Differences between the articles of confederation and the constitution

1. The Constitution gives Congress the power to levy taxes, the Articles do not

2. Congress is composed of two bodies, the Senate and House of Representatives in the Constitution. Congress is composed of only one governing body in the AOC.

3. Amendments can be passed with 3/4 approval by states in the Constitution. The AOC required that all states vote for approval before an amendment was passed.

4. There was no independently-elected President in the AOC. Under the Constitution one is chosen by the electoral college.

Those are a few of the top of my head, if you need more let me know! Hope that helps
