  • Tundra ecosystems refer to the treeless regions that can be found in the Arctic. In the Tundra ecosystem, the climate is windy, cold and there's little rainfall.

  • The animals have a body shape that's heat efficient, and specialized coats that enable them to live in such an area. There are different animals that can be found in the tundra like wolves, polar bears, squirrels, snowy owls, caribou, etc. In their food chain, there are predators like wolves, foxes, bears etc that eat the herbivores such as hares and lemmings.
