Which type of governmental power does a unitary system hold? centralized power state power shared power local power
Centralized power
Unitary power means there is one power.
A unitary power is a government that is centralized and has only one power. The government would not share that power with state or regional governments and certainly not the people. This type of government presents itself as an absolute monarchy as well as dictatorships.
