Answer:

Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs is a theory that posits that the needs of man can all be classified into 5 different levels and that each successive level is actuated when the one basic to it or lower to it has been met.

What are the five levels of human needs according to Maslow?

The five successive levels of human needs according to Abraham Maslow (arranged in order of highest to most basic are)

  1. Physiological Needs (Least on the Pyramid): These include needs such as Food, S.ex, sleep, water, etc.
  2. Safety: (This is next on the pyramid above number one above): here you have employment, health, security, etc.
  3. Love and Belonging: (Friendship, being part of a community)
  4. Esteem: (Here is the need for respect and confidence etc)
  5. Self Actualization: Here the person seeks to achieve or attain their highest self.
